Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thanks to all who were able to attend Report Card Pick Up on Wednesday, April 2nd. It was great to see so many parents in attendance. Staff did a great job discussing the progress students are making and the opportunities that are available to provide support for all learners. As we move into the final stretch of the school year, it is very important to that all students be mindful of the importance of keeping up their school work. I was able to sit in on some of the conferences and in too many instances grades were lower due to missing assignments. I encourage all parents and guardians to regularly check the Power School Parent Portal to check test and quiz grades and to ensure that all homework and assignments are completed. Parents who need information about the parent portal should contact Ms. Scott in the main office. The log in can be found on the Frazier Preparatory Academy website www.frazierprepacademy.org
At Report Card Pick Up, in cases where students are at risk of failure were given a letter indicating that their child may be retained or may need to attend summer school. Letters are being sent by mail to parents and guardians who were not able to attend Report Card Pick Up explaining that the student is at risk of failing. It is our goal to ensure that all parents / guardians have information about their child’s progress and we invite you to work as partners so that all students will succeed.
Parents and guardians who have questions or need additional information can contact me via e-mail at 248-978-8505 or call 773-434-6776.
